Yes.

This tour is specifically designed for both complete beginners and certified divers.

If you have never scuba dived before, your instructor will provide a full briefing, explain the equipment, and stay with you underwater throughout the experience.

No previous diving experience is required.

Do I need a diving certification?

No.

First-time divers can join through the Discover Scuba Diving program.

Certified divers (PADI, SSI, CMAS, SDI and other recognized agencies) are also welcome and will follow a separate diving program appropriate to their certification level.

Is scuba diving in Phu Quoc safe for beginners?

Yes.

Beginners receive training before entering the water and dive under the direct supervision of a professional instructor.

Non-certified divers remain within recreational introductory diving limits and are guided throughout the entire dive.

What is the maximum depth for beginners?

For safety reasons, beginner divers usually dive to a maximum depth of approximately 6 meters.

This depth is more than enough to experience coral reefs, tropical fish, and the sensation of breathing underwater for the first time.

How deep do certified divers go?

Certified divers may dive significantly deeper depending on certification level, experience, dive site conditions, air consumption, and instructor assessment.

Some dive sites around South Phu Quoc reach depths of more than 30 meters.

How many dives are included?

The tour includes two scuba dives.

Dive duration depends on experience level, breathing rate, air consumption, and sea conditions.

What is the minimum age for scuba diving?

The minimum age for this program is 10 years old.

Children must follow instructor guidance and may be subject to additional safety requirements.

Is lunch included?

Yes.

The tour includes lunch served on board, along with drinking water and fresh tropical fruit.

Can I fly after scuba diving?

No.

Divers should wait before flying after scuba diving.

As a general guideline:

✈️ Minimum 18–24 hours before flying is recommended.

Your instructor can provide specific advice based on your dive profile.

What happens if weather conditions are bad?

Safety always comes first.

If sea conditions are unsafe or local authorities do not allow boats to operate, the trip may be postponed, rescheduled, or canceled.

Guests will be offered an alternative date or a refund according to the booking conditions.

Is underwater photography included?

Not normally.

Guests are welcome to bring their own underwater cameras or action cameras.

Availability of photos and videos depends on the dive team operating that day.

Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before departure unless otherwise agreed in advance.

 

Weather & Sea Conditions

Scuba diving activities depend on weather, sea conditions, visibility, and local regulations.

If local authorities, harbor authorities, or the dive operator determine that conditions are unsafe for diving, the trip may be postponed, rescheduled, or canceled.

Guests will be offered an alternative date or a full refund when applicable.

 

Medical & Fitness Requirements

Scuba diving is suitable for guests in good general health.

Participants should not have serious heart, lung, blood pressure, respiratory, or other medical conditions that may affect diving safety.

Pregnant women are not permitted to participate.

Flying After Diving

For safety reasons, divers should avoid flying for at least 18–24 hours after completing scuba dives.

Please consider your travel schedule before booking.

The dive instructor reserves the right to modify the dive plan, reduce dive depth, change dive sites, postpone dives, or cancel activities if conditions are considered unsafe.

All participants must follow the instructions of the dive team at all times.
