Which reef is the best in South Phu Quoc?
There is no single "best" reef every day.
For coral diversity and overall reef health, Hon Kim Quy is often one of our top choices. Bat Reef is excellent for larger coral formations and marine life, while Hon Gam Ghi and Hon Buom can offer fantastic conditions for beginners and families.
Depending on sea conditions, we may also visit other reef systems around the An Thoi Archipelago, including Jungle Reef, North-East Reef, Hon Vang, Hon Kho, Hon Dam, and reef areas around Hon May Rut.
The best snorkeling location changes from day to day and depends on visibility, currents, wind direction, wave conditions, and guest experience level. Rather than following a fixed route, we select the locations that offer the best possible snorkeling conditions on the day of your trip.
Can young children join the tour?
Yes. Families with young children are welcome. Children who do not snorkel can stay with their parents on the boat or enjoy suitable shallow-water areas depending on sea conditions. Child life jackets are available.

Booking & Confirmation
Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only after receiving confirmation from Kimi Vietnam Tour. No deposit is normally required for this tour. However, a deposit may be requested for special arrangements or specific requirements, and this will be communicated before booking confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before departure, unless different conditions were agreed upon when booking.
As no advance payment is normally required, there is no payment to refund if the booking is cancelled before any payment has been made.
Weather & Sea Conditions
Reef locations, routes, and departure times may be adjusted according to weather and sea conditions.
If the tour cannot operate safely, we will offer an alternative date. If rescheduling is not possible, no payment will be required for an unpaid booking, and any advance payments will be refunded.
Safety & Participation
Guests must follow the instructions of the snorkeling guide and boat crew. Life jackets are provided, and non-swimmers may participate in suitable conditions with close assistance from the guide.
Families with young children are welcome. Snorkeling participation depends on individual abilities, sea conditions, and the guide's safety assessment.
Corals, rocks, and marine organisms may have sharp edges or stinging surfaces. Guests must avoid physical contact and maintain a safe distance from underwater structures.
Coral Reef Protection
We follow low-impact snorkeling practices to minimize disturbance to coral reefs and marine life.
Touching, standing on, damaging, or collecting corals, marine animals, shells, or other natural materials is strictly prohibited.
Payment & Additional Charges
Payment is made on the day of the tour. Credit or debit card payments incur an 8% processing fee.
A 20% surcharge applies during designated holidays. Additional charges may apply for hotel transfers from selected locations.
